Message from Tom Robinson, Farmer and Director of the National Forest Adventure Farm
The Adventure Farm has been closed since 20 March and in recent weeks we have awaited news of when we could finally re-open. Whilst many hospitality venues will be allowed to open from 4 July, we have decided not to open until 18 July. This will ensure adequate time for us to prepare for the farm to open safely. Also this is when the school summer holiday period will begin.
Our aim, as always, is to give you a great day out and we are working hard to make this happen and your safety, and that of our staff, is a priority.
Since closure, we have received many messages of support from you and we know many of you have missed your trips to the Farm. I would like to thank you for your patience and support during this difficult period and look forward to welcoming you back soon.
Temporary Closure 20 March 2020
Message from Ivor Robinson, Farmer and Director National Forest Adventure Farm:
It is with great regret that I have to announce that from 6pm on Friday 20 March 2020, the Adventure Farm will temporarily close in response to Government measures announced to control COVID-19 (Coronavirus).
This is a tremendously difficult time for everyone. This has been, and remains the most difficult chapter in the history of the Adventure Farm, however we feel it is essential that we take this step and contribute to the national effort to suppress this disease.
We are in the business of providing people with fun, laughter and everlasting memories of a great day out. It is the smiles on people’s faces that are the greatest reward of this job. Having to call a halt to providing these experiences, albeit temporarily, is a bitter blow to all the team here at the Farm.
Whilst we are closed, please keep an eye on our social media and our website as we really want to keep you up to date with all the action that will continue to happen on the Farm. We would love you to stay involved.
We sincerely wish you and your families well in these difficult times and look forward to welcoming you back in happier times.
